1. Who you are agreeing with
These Terms of Service govern your use of Local Hero, a Google Business Profile autopilot service operated by WebFluence Digital LLC ("Local Hero", "we", "us"), a US-registered limited liability company with its operational base in Dublin, Ireland.
By creating an account, paying a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
Local Hero is a SaaS that helps Irish and UK SMBs manage their Google Business Profile presence. Specifically, when you connect your GBP we may, on your authorisation:
- Monitor your reviews and draft AI-generated replies (subject to your approval before publishing).
- Send SMS or WhatsApp review-request messages to customers you import.
- Schedule and publish GBP posts on your behalf.
- Track your rank in Google local search across a defined geographic grid.
- Monitor name/address/phone (NAP) consistency across third-party citation sources.
- Generate a weekly Local Visibility PDF report.

3. Account
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter contracts, and operating a business in the Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom (other jurisdictions on request). One account per business. Personal accounts are not supported.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in email and any magic links sent to it. We do not use passwords. Notify us immediately at security@getlocalhero.ie if you suspect unauthorised access.
3.3 Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Connect a Google Business Profile that you do not own or are not authorised to manage.
- Import customer contact details without a lawful basis (typically consent and SMS opt-in per ePrivacy / GDPR).
- Use Local Hero to post content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, or that violates Google's GBP terms.
- Use Local Hero to incentivise reviews in ways that breach Google's Review Policy (e.g., offering discounts conditional on a positive review).
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or rate-limit-evade the service.
- Resell access without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section without refund.
4. Plans, billing, trial, refunds
4.1 Plans
Pricing is described on getlocalhero.ie/pricing. The Hero plan is the default (€29/month or £25/month). The Founder LTD is a one-time payment for lifetime access at a fixed feature scope, capped at 100 seats. Other plans (Voice, Leads, Agency) may be added or modified.
4.2 Trial
The Hero plan includes a 14-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends. You may cancel during the trial via Settings → Billing → Cancel and will not be charged.
4.3 Billing
We bill via Stripe. You authorise Stripe to charge your payment method monthly (Hero plan) or as a one-time payment (Founder LTD). VAT is charged where applicable per EU OSS / UK rules.
4.4 Refunds
- Monthly Hero plan: We do NOT pro-rate refunds for partial months. Cancel any time — your access continues to the end of the current billing period, then stops.
- Founder LTD: 14-day refund window from purchase. After 14 days, the LTD is non-refundable except where required by law.
- Service failure: If we materially fail to deliver the service for a period (e.g., extended downtime per Section 8), you may request a credit or refund proportional to the failure.
- Statutory rights (consumer): If you qualify as a "consumer" under Irish / UK law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal that overrides anything narrower in these Terms. B2B customers do not have this right.
4.5 Price changes
Hero plan price changes are notified by email at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before the change takes effect. Founder LTD pricing is locked at purchase for the lifetime of the seat.
4.6 Failed payments
If a payment fails, we retry per Stripe's default schedule. After 14 days of unresolved failure, the account is paused. After 60 days, the account and its data are deleted unless you contact us.
5. Your data — Data Processing Addendum
When you import your own customers' contact details into Local Hero so we can act on them on your behalf, you are the controller and we are the processor. Our processor obligations are governed by the Data Processing Addendum, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You may export your data at any time via Settings → Export, or by emailing privacy@getlocalhero.ie.
For all other personal data (your account, billing, telemetry), we are the controller — see the Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Our IP
Local Hero, the Local Hero name and logo, the website, the application, and the underlying software are owned by WebFluence Digital LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service per these Terms while your subscription is active.
6.2 Your content
You retain ownership of the data, settings, and content you bring to Local Hero (your tone of voice, customer list, reply approvals). You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
6.3 AI-generated reply drafts
Drafts generated by Local Hero's AI feature on your behalf are provided to you for your review and approval. You decide whether to publish. Once published to your GBP, the reply is your statement and your responsibility.
6.4 Aggregate analytics
We may compute and publish aggregate, anonymised metrics about service usage (e.g., "Local Hero customers got 4× more reviews on average"). We do not identify individual customers in such metrics.
7. Third-party services
Local Hero relies on Google Business Profile, Stripe, Twilio, Meta WhatsApp Business, Resend, Supabase, Cloudflare, and others (see the Privacy Policy for the canonical list). Service availability and policies of these third parties are outside our direct control. We choose providers carefully and replace those that consistently fail us.
In particular: Google may suspend or remove your Google Business Profile for violations of its Review Policy or other GBP policies. Local Hero does not control Google's enforcement decisions and is not liable for them. We help you stay within policy by surfacing risks (e.g., flagging suspicious review patterns), but the final responsibility for your GBP remains yours.
8. Service availability
We aim for ≥99.9% uptime measured month-over-month, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 24 hours in advance. We publish a status page (status.getlocalhero.ie when live).
If uptime drops below 99% in a calendar month, we credit affected customers 10% of that month's fee. Below 95%, 25%. Below 90%, 50%. Credits are applied to the next invoice or refunded on cancellation. Founder LTD customers receive equivalent service-month credit at €29/mo equivalent.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide the Service "as is". We do not warrant:
- That AI-drafted replies will be appropriate for every review (you approve before publishing — that's the safety net).
- That rank-tracking data is identical to Google's internal ranking signals (it's based on third-party SERP scrapes and may differ).
- That citation monitoring catches every directory listing (we cover the major sources but not every long-tail directory).
- That you will rank in any specific position on Google.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement, except where you are a consumer and statutory rights apply.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) €100.
We are not liable for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, anticipated savings, business opportunity, or goodwill.
- Loss of or damage to data — except where caused by our gross negligence.
- Indirect or consequential damages.
- Acts of third-party providers (Google suspending your GBP, Twilio rejecting messages, etc.).
Nothing in this Section limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination
11.1 By you
Cancel any time via Settings → Billing → Cancel, or by emailing hello@getlocalhero.ie. Your data is retained per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.
11.2 By us
We may terminate or suspend your account for material breach of these Terms (e.g., abuse, payment failure, GBP policy violation that exposes us to liability) with reasonable notice. Where breach cannot be cured (e.g., a customer using Local Hero to harass), termination may be immediate.
11.3 Effect of termination
On termination: access ends, your data is retained for 30 days post-termination for download/export, then deleted (except records we must retain for legal reasons — see Privacy Policy Section 5).
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept, cancel before the effective date.
13. Governing law and disputes
- Governing law: Irish law.
- Jurisdiction: courts of Ireland.
- Informal resolution first: We commit to attempting good-faith informal resolution by email before any party initiates legal proceedings. Email disputes@getlocalhero.ie.
- Consumer rights: nothing in this Section deprives you of consumer protections in your country of habitual residence.
14. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms + the Privacy Policy + the DPA + the pricing page constitute the entire agreement.
- No assignment: You may not assign your account without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity (e.g., on acquisition).
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
- Severability: If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
- Force majeure: Neither party is liable for delays caused by events outside reasonable control (war, pandemic, internet-scale outages).
